Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience using Cerner required
• Ability to work night shifts and alternating weekends
• Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond quickly to changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in Cerner
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and evidence-based critical care nursing practices
• Communicate effectively with patients and families while maintaining a compassionate approach
