Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per schedule period). Patient ratio 1:2. May float to Medical-Surgical, Step-down, PCU, Emergency Department, or CVICU with a maximum of 4 patients when floating.

• First-time travelers welcome with 1.5+ years of ICU experience
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• 24-hour orientation with additional onsite module training during orientation
• Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Opportunity to work with advanced critical care equipment and complex patient populations

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license required by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with 1:2 patient ratio experience
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, continuous IV sedation, and care of ventilated patients
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
