Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of ICU experience and a compact or OK RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
  • Care for critically ill ICU patients with a 1:2/3 patient ratio, up to 5 patients per unit
  • Unit is staffed with 2 RNs working together
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • Floating required to other units and other facilities within a 75-mile radius
  • No block scheduling accommodations available

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or OK State) required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (PALS preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Prior charge nurse experience preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Skilled in critical care procedures including arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and multisystem organ dysfunction care
  • Driver's license and utility bill with matching address required for consideration
  • Two supervisory references required
  • Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of critical medications
  • Perform procedures such as chest tube assistance, tracheostomy care, and 12-lead EKG interpretation
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the position
  • Floating required to other Integris facilities within a 75-mile radius
  • Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
  • Former Integris employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the facility to be eligible
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
