**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Registered Nurses!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information: ICU / (650)** - **Location:** Aurora, CO - **Address:** 1501 S Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80012 - **Floor:** 3rd floor - **Building:** Main - **General Unit Overview:** - **Number of Beds:** 38 - **Level II Trauma Center** - **Patient Types:** - General mixed ICU with a variety of patients including Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgery - Post-Operative open-heart patients - VV and VA ECMO, Balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT - **Number of Staff:** 125 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 16-18 Staff - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 16-18 Staff - **Patient Ratios:** 2:1, 1:1 depending on acuity - **Equipment Used:** - Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps - Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO – Maquet Cardiohelp and Medtronic Vital Flow - NICOM - **EMR System:** Meditech - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum 1-year of current acute care ICU hospital experience - BLS, ACLS & NIH certification - **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior Meditech experience - CVICU/CTICU experience (Care of the immediate post-operative open heart surgery patient) - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Bedside procedures such as Bronchs, GI Scopes, Chest Tube Insertion, Arterial and Central line insertions - Airway care and frequent drip titrations - **Best Personality Fit:** - Team player - Attention to detail - **Why Choose This Unit:** - Located close to stunning mountains with opportunities for skiing and hiking in every season! - Warm, friendly nursing team that collaborates exceptionally well together! **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
