Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry. This position requires proficiency in handling critical care patients and advanced telemetry tasks.

Schedule

The role involves working night shifts with a 12-hour schedule, commencing at 19:00. The nurse will be expected to work every other weekend and may float to similar Med/Surg units as needed.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) or high-level telemetry setting.
• Proficient in managing titratable drips, BiPAP, and long-term ventilation.
• Strong background in cardiac nursing; rehabilitation experience is not acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience.
• Experience in both Intermediate Care Units (IMCU) and Critical Care Units (CCU).

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• Current Illinois Nursing License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.

Orientation

The selected candidate will undergo a 12-hour orientation, with the initial 6 hours being non-billable.

Additional Information

This role requires flexibility to meet operational demands, including holiday work as needed.
