Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing and have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar specialty.

Schedule

• Varied schedule from 7 AM to 7:30 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Location

Position available in: Northside Holiday (City, State)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care setting.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner General Medical Surgical ICU is a plus.

Holiday Requirements

The selected candidate must be available to work during the holiday season, including:

• 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
• 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
