Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team in a rotating schedule. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in critical condition, collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor critical patients, including those on ECMO and ventilators.
- Perform central line placement and care, arterial line management, and other advanced nursing procedures.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and labs, including ABGs, to make informed decisions.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
- Participate in the education of patients and families about their health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
