Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team, specializing in acute care for both adult and pediatric patients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and pediatric patients with a variety of acute medical conditions.
• Adhere to staffing ratios: 2:1 in the ICU and 3:1 in the Step Down Unit (SDU).
• Utilize an automated medication dispensing system (Pixys) and an electronic medical record (EMR) system (Cerner).
• Maintain a safe environment by wearing a mask at all times in the ICU.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Current nursing license in Oklahoma or a Compact nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is required for all RNs and LPNs.
• Pediatric nursing experience is mandatory.

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 3x12 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks.

Scrub Color

Registered Nurses are required to wear navy blue scrubs.
