Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 2:1 patient ratio. Float rotation required to ICU overflow and PCU/Telemetry units. Weekend coverage required; must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Level II Trauma Center and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center with high-acuity neuro population
• Magnet-designated acute care facility with 377 staffed beds and 24-bed ICU (plus 12 overflow beds)
• Comprehensive critical care experience including STEMI receiving, CABG/Valve procedures, IABP, CRRT, and sepsis management
• Diverse patient population including cardiovascular, multi-trauma, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, and orthopedic cases
• Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Free parking and collaborative team environment with fair float rotation

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Strong neuro ICU experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and LA City Fire Card
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required (no Nursys or background hits accepted)
• Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius
