• Setting: Low-acuity ICU and high-acuity telemetry/IMCU-style unit
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week / 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Once every 6 weeks
• Weekend Coverage: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820 - $1,910

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the service line required
• Prior ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong charting and clinical documentation skills required
• Experience with Altera charting preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to complete onboarding requirements and lab work within the required timeframe

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a monitored critical care environment
• Care for low-acuity ICU patients and high-acuity telemetry patients with continuous cardiac and vital sign monitoring
• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive infusions, including insulin drips, while closely monitoring patient response
• Perform frequent neurological assessments for patients receiving post-thrombolytic care
• Support patients with high oxygen requirements and complex cardiopulmonary needs
• Monitor and manage central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, drains, and related critical care therapies
• Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to adjust care plans as patient conditions change
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care in a RN-driven unit environment
