Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVICU at a leading healthcare facility in Tucson, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about patient care and looking to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac and ventilator support.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units such as Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Arizona RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, specifically in cardiac care.
• Experience with ventilators and vasoactive drips is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with open heart surgery, balloon pumps, and CRRT.

Additional Information:

• 6 weekend shifts required over a 6-week schedule.
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in a 15-bed unit.
• EMR system used: Cerner.
• Scrub color: Any solid color, no preference.
