Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and prior trauma/cardiovascular ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital environment
• Patient population includes trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to the IMC unit as needed to meet facility needs
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required; pending license accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience preferred, with strong experience considered at 2+ years
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted
• One RTO request permitted during the assignment
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
