ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The position offers exposure to a variety of ICU specialties, including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care. The role requires strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, along with a commitment to remaining current in critical care knowledge. Registered Nurses will be assigned to the intensive care units with the greatest staffing needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in various ICU settings.
• Utilize strong critical thinking and assessment skills to monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of ICU acute care experience required.

Certifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Schedule

D/E/N rotating shift schedule with every other weekend; holidays may apply based on unit needs.
