Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and MD or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • ICU setting caring for a complex critical care patient population including stroke, renal failure with CRRT, MI-IABP, respiratory failure, pneumonia, post cardiac arrest, DKA, and surgical ICU cases
  • Uses specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, central line and universal critical airway carts, chest tube cart, temp pacer cart, bronch cart, chemo cart, CRRT cart, and malignant hyperthermia cart
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 1900-0700
  • Every third weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required within specialty and acuity level
  • EPIC charting system used

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing across a wide range of complex ICU diagnoses and procedures
