Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week critical care assignment requiring active MN licensure and 2+ years of ICU experience.

Details

• ICU unit within a hospital setting
• 3x12 shift schedule with day (0700-1930) and night (1900-0730) options
• Every other weekend required
• Float required to CVTU, Tele, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU when not needed in ICU

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of MN license application required at submission
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators required

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Local travelers within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at time of submission
• Required lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Livescan fingerprinting must be completed in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, per state requirement
• Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation
