• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float within scope to IMC as needed
• Charting System: Epic required
• Unit Setting: 24-bed critical care unit with an average daily census of 18

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience required; 2+ years strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfort caring for high-acuity patients with trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro conditions
• Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Strong experience with critical care equipment and advanced interventions preferred
• Willingness to work weekends and some holidays
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required with no exemptions

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients
• Monitor and manage complex ICU patients with medical, surgical, trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro diagnoses
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, cardiac drips, sedation, insulin protocols, and other critical therapies
• Care for patients requiring ventilator support, CRRT, IABP support, and EVD management
• Perform comprehensive assessments, respond quickly to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document accurately in Epic and support safe, efficient patient flow
• Float to IMC within scope when needed to support facility needs
• Follow unit policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards
• Contribute to a positive team environment while providing exceptional critical care nursing
