Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• 3+ years of critical care nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC or TCAR preferred
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and ability to pass a facility competency test
• Experience with neuro ICU, trauma ICU, medical ICU, or stepdown/progressive care patients preferred
• Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced critical care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neuro, trauma, and medical ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care support
• Care for patients using equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, CRRT, BiPAP, Ekos, and chest tubes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Float as needed based on unit staffing and patient acuity
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and follow unit protocols
• Support every-third-weekend coverage and occasional on-call needs as assigned
