Travel ICU Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, through January 22, 2027
• Nursing Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent ICU registered nursing or critical care nursing experience
• Active Ohio RN license or active compact-state RN license in hand
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Successful completion of required background screening, health screening, and onboarding assessments
• Required nursing certifications and RN licensure must be active and available at the time of submission

Travel ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and respond promptly to critical care needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and other indicators of patient stability
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment while maintaining patient safety
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families and provide compassionate support throughout the care experience
