Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Perform arterial and central line management and care.
• Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and care for ventilated patients.
• Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and perform suctioning (ETT, NT).
• Implement isolation precautions and use PPE appropriately.
• Independently measure and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac rhythm analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Current NY License in hand.
• No background or license hits.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with AllScripts EMR system preferred.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
• Must be prepared to work a full 12-hour shift on the first day.
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required, with Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations allowed.
