Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and Epic charting experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating as needed, potentially to Med Surg
• No on-call requirements
• May care for COVID patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact); PA license required
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line care/management
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Respiratory/thoracic skills including BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients
• Suctioning experience (ETT, NT)
• Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE use
• Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct ICU nursing care including cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Holiday coverage required (2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius for travel pay rate eligibility; local candidates may be considered at a lower rate
