Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of ICU experience.

Details

• Medical ICU (MICU) setting at a hospital main campus
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in ICU required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, requiring a passing score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Candidates with an open background check case will not be accepted, and any professional license hits are disqualifying
• Permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to this health system
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
