Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with a Minnesota RN license, requiring 2+ years of critical care experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and vent management.

Details

• Work in the ICU with potential float assignments to CVTU, Tele, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU when not needed in critical care
• 3x12 hour shifts with rotating Day (0700-1930) and Night (1900-0730) schedules
• Every other weekend required
• Float to progressive care and neuroscience units as needed

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license required (in hand or proof of application at time of consideration)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilator management required

Additional Information

• Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life support interventions
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Livescan fingerprinting required in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, applicable to both Minnesota and non-Minnesota residents
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
