Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to ICU patients, including cardiac, trauma, and neuro populations.
• Function as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols and standards.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Active Iowa RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA) required.
• PALS certification (AHA) required.
• CPI certification required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred; will be required upon contract extension.
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
