12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including four weekend shifts per schedule period and rotating holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU team, specifically in the MICU/SICU/Neuro department. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in critical care and able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and relevant metrics.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with rapid response and code situations.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (PALS and TNCC preferred).
• Experience in ICU settings with a capability to handle high-acuity patients.
