Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with critical care experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring an IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 36-bed ICU with 24 beds utilized, acute care setting
• Patient population includes respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB diagnoses
• Patient ratios range from 1:2 up to 1:30
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 0700-1930, with self-scheduling
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
• Floating to stepdown unit possible

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care experience required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Navy blue scrubs required
