Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT or Compact) required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS, not expiring prior to start
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of ICU specialty experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• No block booking of RTO will be approved
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with drug screen completed within 24 hours of assignment commitment
