Join our team as an ICU Registered Nurse at a leading acute-care hospital in Batavia, NY. We are seeking dedicated and skilled RNs to provide exceptional care in our Intensive Care Unit. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including young adults to the elderly, and manage a variety of complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float required to Med/Surg as needed.
• Weekend coverage every other weekend.
• Patient ratio experience required: 1:3.
• Manage patients with conditions including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and GI diseases.
• Care for post-operative patients and those requiring ventilator support.
• Perform special procedures such as A-lines, central lines, intubations, and chest tubes.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Proficient in IV management, including insulin protocols and central line care.
• Ability to manage ventilated patients and perform emergency procedures.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.

Scrubs: Any combination of navy and white is acceptable.
