Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Unit

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Unit is responsible for the coordination of care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a strong focus on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including those requiring specialized interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physicians' orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient-related activities accurately and promptly within the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• EPIC charting system experience is strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
