Job Overview:
The University of Maryland Medical Center – Downtown is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a 13-week travel assignment. This position primarily cares for critically ill adult and geriatric patients with complex neurological conditions. Nurses with Neuro ICU experience are highly preferred, though first-time travelers with strong Neuro ICU skills are encouraged to apply.
PACKAGE OFFERED TO NURSE Hourly Breakdown Total Hourly Pay Rate: $ 63.00 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $ 16.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 47.00 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $ 2,268.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $ 576.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 1,692.00 Per Week
Requirements:

• Active Maryland RN License
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• First-time travelers accepted with strong Neuro ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (Required)
• CPI and NIHSS certifications (Preferred)

• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating within the ICU specialty to lower-acuity patients as needed
• On-call may be required.

• Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
• Unit Size: 22 Beds
• Average Daily Census: 21 Patients
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2 (up to 1:3 for stable, lower-acuity patients)

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
