- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Schedule: Nights with every other weekend coverage; floating required
- Charting System: EPIC
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; may increase when floating to med/surg areas
Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of continuous adult ICU experience, preferably in a MICU or critical care setting
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Telemetry competency required
- Experience floating to medical/surgical units preferred
- Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and time-management skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a busy ICU setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition with accuracy and urgency
- Care for patients with complex diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, cardiac arrest, GI bleed, renal failure, and more
- Collaborate closely with attendings, residents, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Deliver safe, evidence-based critical care while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Float as needed to support med/surg areas and meet patient care demands
- Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain high standards of clinical practice
