Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical ICU – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Patient ratios typically 1:2; 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG cases (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)

• 26-bed Surgical ICU within a large Level II trauma facility providing advanced critical care
• Diverse case mix including trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU populations
• Advanced equipment and technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocol, and ECMO
• Collaborative team environment with experienced ICU nursing staff and dedicated support personnel
• EMR system: Meditech
• Travel nursing assignment with competitive market compensation

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Proficiency with chest tubes, central lines, and critical care medication drips
