Travel Registered Nurse (RN) | 13-Week Contract

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse delivers compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care while promoting healing, safety, and wellness. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, educating patients and families, and evaluating patient outcomes throughout the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
  • Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered healing environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience: No prior RN experience required (previous nursing experience preferred).
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
  • Certification: BLS required.
