Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring active IL RN licensure and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Night shift schedule, 7pm-730am, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
• May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care
• Report and correct safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and offer constructive feedback to peers
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must complete a 6-month break in service before returning
