Job Overview
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. As a travel nurse, you'll use evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and strong clinical judgment to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working alongside an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions accurately and safely.
Monitor patient progress and promptly recognize and respond to changes in condition.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
Delegate patient care tasks appropriately while ensuring quality and safety.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of patient safety and excellence.
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required.
Current BLS Certification.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Previous acute care nursing experience.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
