Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a twenty-bed adult general surgical ICU caring for a highly acute and complex patient population
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment
• Collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Care for critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilation, titration of vasoactive and sedative medications, central line and arterial line management, and complex wound and drain management
• Uses EPIC for documentation and charting

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Skilled in mechanical ventilation, vasoactive and sedative medication titration, central and arterial line care, and complex wound and drain management
• EPIC charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
