Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Valid Pennsylvania RN license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIHS certification/credential required
• Experience caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Comfort working in a high-acuity critical care environment with ICU-level equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients with complex needs
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, efficient critical care
• Support patients using equipment such as ventilators, IABP, arterial lines, and CPAP
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EPIC
• Adapt to occasional floating to MedSurg as needed
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced ICU setting
