Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring MT or compact RN licensure and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS (AHA certifications required, not expiring prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
