Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage required at least every other weekend. Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity.

Highlights:

• Six-month travel assignment at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with a 36-bed ICU
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams
• Advanced critical care experience with ECMO, CRRT, ARDS with proning, and ventilator management
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided
• Free parking and flexible scrub color policy
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations requiring complex interventions including VAD, IABP, cardiac pacemakers, and therapeutic hypothermia

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong competency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, blood product administration, and continuous IV sedation
• Experience with specialized procedures: ECMO, CRRT, pulmonary artery line monitoring, ICP monitoring, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Must have reliable transportation as floating to nearby facilities may be required
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
