Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment in a critical access hospital, requiring a VT or compact RN license and telemetry proficiency.

Details

• Four-bed open ICU setting in a critical access hospital
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric critical care patients
• 3, 12-hour night shifts per week (7pm-7am)
• 13-week assignment
• Travelers start on Wednesdays

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Must be able to read telemetry
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing following AACN standards adapted to each patient's age and abilities
• Located in a rural area approximately two hours from the nearest major airport with no public transportation available
• A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
