WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate registered nurses to provide exceptional care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care and interventions.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
  • Current and valid RN license in PA or Compact State License.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
  • Preferred experience with Cerner charting system.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
