Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for an Intensive Care Coronary unit requiring a CO or compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 0700-1930
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required, not expiring prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while monitoring treatment plans and documenting according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Provide therapy and treatment supportive of patient recovery and well-being
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with candidates expected to complete drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
