Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a CO or compact RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• 3x12-hour Day shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend requirement: 7 shifts required in an 8 week period
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and treatment monitoring
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO must be submitted with candidate profile
