Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU (days) position at an academic medical center in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU) within an academic medical center setting
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR is used on this unit
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in the relevant specialty required
- BLS and all certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience is required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
- Active US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
- Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal or religious declinations will not be honored
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- ICU competency testing is required; candidates have 2 attempts to pass
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; any required make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
