Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Hospital-based ICU position within the Nursing Float Pool
• 13-week travel assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float policy requires flexibility to work within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• AHA-issued BLS/ACLS certifications required prior to start date (non-AHA certifications accepted for initial consideration)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Work as part of a float pool team providing ICU-level nursing care across MaineHealth facilities as needed
• Local candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome to apply, though local pay rates apply and local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
• Requested time off should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited while on the unit
