MUST HAVE PALS certification. MUST HAVE an active Registered Nurse (RN) license . Floating is required to Intermediate Step-Down and Medical floors. Unit is Med Neuro ICU . Unit cannot accommodate more than 7 days of RTO . While PALS is required, the unit typically does not care for pediatric patients; pediatric overflow generally remains in the Pediatrics unit.
