Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and an active NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• ICU setting with a variety of high-acuity patient care
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, three shifts per week
• Floating required to ED (not just ICU holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment, and possibly Behavioral Health
• May be requested to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin locations
• Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• 2-3 years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong, independent, fast-paced clinical skills
• CVICU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC, PALS, and CCRN certifications preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• RN Skills Checklist matching specialty required for consideration
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration

• Deliver high-acuity nursing care within a fast-paced ICU environment requiring independent, quick decision-making
• Weekly orientation provided
• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius, which also determines local pay rate eligibility
• Former staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• RTO must be included at time of consideration
