Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring active NH or compact RN licensure and 2-3+ years of ICU experience.

Details

• ICU setting with 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), every other weekend
• 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Contract includes holiday coverage through 1/9
• Floating required to ED (not just holds), Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment
• May also float to Behavioral Health, and to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin
• Uses balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
• 2-3+ years of ICU experience required; candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong, independent, and fast-paced clinical skills
• CVICU experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• RN Skills Checklist matching specialty required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required
• RTO must be included at time of consideration
• 3 professional references required once committed, at least 2 from leadership

• Deliver ICU-level care with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly across a variety of patient conditions
• Weekly orientation provided
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at the local rate
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
• Former perm staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
