Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring 1-2 years of Medical ICU experience and WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases
• Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with a charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Occasional use of IABP equipment
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (WA or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Medical ICU experience and TNCC certification preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work as part of a collaborative ICU team that holds each other accountable to best practices
• Located in a teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA, part of the Tri-Cities region
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
