Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience – HARD REQUIREMENT
- Strong cardiovascular ICU experience
- Open-heart experience required
- Balloon pump/IABP experience required
- Experience caring for ventilated patients
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
- Experience with arterial lines, central lines and PICC lines
- Experience interpreting ABGs
- IV insulin protocol experience
- Blood product administration
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Suctioning of ETT/NT
- First-time travelers are accepted
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS/NIH
- VIP, MAB or CPI certification — in-person course required
