Overview

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care RN to support a 20-bed medical/surgical ICU caring for adult patients with a wide range of complex and critical diagnoses. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers night shifts, floating to Med/Surg as needed, and the opportunity to work alongside a strong interdisciplinary team in a Level III Trauma Center.

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Setting: Adult Medical/Surgical ICU in a Level III Trauma Center
• Floating: Required, primarily to Med/Surg units
• Charting System: EPIC
• Location: Salem, MA 01970

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of continuous Adult ICU experience, preferably in a MICU setting
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry competency and ability to read tele strips confidently
• Experience caring for high-acuity adult critical care patients
• Strong adaptability and comfort floating to Med/Surg units
• Previous EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a busy ICU
• Monitor and assess patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GI bleed, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate closely with attendings, residents, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver safe, effective care in high-acuity assignments with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2 in the ICU
• Float to Med/Surg units when needed and provide dependable clinical support in those settings
• Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
